Someone asked me what herbs are good my heart, my circulation, and my blood pressure as we go into the holiday season?
I'm not sure you can call it a herb, but Cinnamon, which is in fact a spice and comes from the bark of a small evergreen tree will do all three things for you and taste good in soups, ciders and eggnog. So go heavy on ground Cinnamon spice every chance you get.

Garlic.
ReplyDeleteEat a raw garlic clove each day. It's good for your cholesterol, too.
My dad does this, however, you have to beware of two things--your breath and, if you pardon my bluntness, your flatulence...LOL...trust me, my mother has had plenty of experience with both...LOL
But, garlic works.
